Haridwar to Guptkashi
Depart Haridwar early morning and drive through the scenic Alaknanda and Mandakini valleys to Guptkashi (1,319 m). En route visit Devprayag and Rudraprayag confluences. Evening visit to Ardh Narishwar temple. Overnight at Guptkashi.
Guptkashi to Gaurikund – Trek to Kedarnath
Drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund (1,982 m) — the base of the Kedarnath trek. Begin the 16 km ascent through spectacular Himalayan terrain past Jungle Chatti, Bheembali and Linchauli to Kedarnath. The last stretch offers jaw-dropping views of the Kedarnath peak. Check in and attend the divine Rudrabhishek aarti.
Kedarnath – Full Day Darshan
Full day in the divine environs of Kedarnath. Early morning abhishek puja at the Jyotirlinga. Explore the nearby Bhairavnath temple, the Gandhi Sarovar lake, and the iconic backdrop of Kedardome and Kedarnath peaks. Evening aarti inside the temple.
Kedarnath to Guptkashi – Descend
Post morning darshan, descend back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Relax and reflect on the spiritual journey. Overnight rest.
Guptkashi to Haridwar – Departure
Morning drive back to Haridwar through the scenic Garhwal valleys. Drop at Haridwar railway station/bus stand for onward journey.
