Trip Overview

Kedarnath Dham, perched at 3,584 metres in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and among the most revered Shiva temples in the world. The ancient temple, believed to be over 1,000 years old, stands majestically against a backdrop of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. The 16 km trek from Gaurikund is an adventure in itself, climbing through rhododendron forests, waterfalls and high-altitude meadows. The morning aarti inside the centuries-old stone shrine creates an otherworldly spiritual experience. NorthYatra's Kedarnath Yatra package covers all transfers, accommodation at Guptkashi and Kedarnath base, meals, porter/pony assistance and expert guidance. This is the perfect pilgrimage for those seeking a deep spiritual connection with the divine.
