Trip Overview

Established in 1936 as India's first national park, Jim Corbett National Park in the Ramnagar district of Uttarakhand spans 520 sq km of dense sal forests, grassy meadows and the Ramganga river basin. It is home to over 200 Bengal tigers, 580 bird species, leopards, elephants, crocodiles and sloth bears. The park is divided into multiple zones — Bijrani, Dhikala, Jhirna, Garjia and Durga Devi — each offering unique wildlife experiences. The Dhikala zone is the crown jewel, accessible only by overnight stay in the park's forest rest houses. NorthYatra's Corbett package includes jungle zone jeep safaris, comfortable resort accommodation at the park boundary, meals and expert naturalist guides who know the forest intimately.
